Custom Cake Design
Parties By Imagination operates out of the small mining town of Newman, Pilbara, Western Australia, after I moved my family North to get out of the FIFO lifestyle. And business is BOOMING!
It was started through a love and enjoyment of doing my own children's birthday cakes, and creating their parties, and seeing the delight on the kids faces when they see their favourite action hero or TV character become part of their birthday celebrations.
I come from a creative family, my sister being a quilter, my mother has done everything from Porcelain dolls to folk art (see www.shinton.kol.co.nz) and while I've never had the painting or sewing talent, my canvas became a cake tin and my brush - an icing bag.
A lot of my creations now are my own design, while still doing the popular children's character themed requests, as well as formal cakes, biscuits and cupcakes.
Orders are best placed well in advance, so I can ensure all supplies are in town, allow adequate time for freight, and generally guarantee a well presented package. I am also an agent for personalized products. (Invitations, Gifts, Personalized Candles). There are a few samples on my site, if you would like anything specific, please contact me for a sample. I can also arrange partyware on request, but this requires a minimum 4 week notice and non refundable deposit once items are dispatched.
Cake costs range from $80 -$150, formal cakes (wedding/21st cakes) are quoted individually on enquiry.
Cakes can be delivered but there is a fee of $10 per delivery. Freight and postage costs are only passed on for special order items.
My cakes can also be booked through The Beach Indoor Playcentre if you are booking the venue for your party.
